The Origin:

The ’90s Grunge and Spice:

According to these definitions, an IT girl has it all…The looks. The sex appeal. The personality and she is “The” girl every girl wants to be like and “The” girl every guy wants to be with and while this is all true there certain elements that take someone from being a basic girly to an IT girly (and trust me it’s not that hard).

These are just the main elements I have observed in many IT girls, and being an IT girl doesn’t mean you have to be all over social media or in the movies, you could simply be an IT girl at school or work or whatever.

Elements that make an IT girl

She looks after her mental and physical health

This is number one because this the most important point as looking after your health is at the core of being an IT girl beacause if she is healthy and fells good  she is gonna slay.At the end of the day your body is a home which your gonna live in for the rest of your life, keep it clean and tidy girl… 
This does not mean you have to have a 2 hour workout routine either to be an IT girl ,just stay active and do what feels right.

She has confidence and maturity

This point point trickles down from the previous as being mentally/physically healthy is going to give you that confidence which is obviously important from day to day life but also when you are in situations like … a boy is giving you mixed signals , a friend is talking behind your back. It takes confidence and maturity to leave a situation and move TF on.

She has a hobby

Having at least one hobby or something that sparks your interest that you are consistent in means that well. Which can be anything from experimenting with makeup to being a game developer ,don't be shy. Nerdy is sexy too… your an interesting person as you have more to offer in a conversation which comes off as not only are you smart but you are busy occupied in something that isn't Instagram stalking an ex or leaving hate comments under his new girl’s post.

She has a signature/unique makeup style

Add spice to your makeup routine weather it be trying a new way to do eyeliner or loading on the pink blush (which personally I’m a fan of doing) and mainly finding what suits your face or maybe what will enhance your facial features more e.g if you have bushy brows try the soap brow trend . An IT girl knows what suits and enhances her face but she is not afraid to try something new once in a while

She has a fragrance

I wish someone told me this earlier but sweaty armpits aint cute , instead invest in a good deodorant , body mist or perfume.
Tip: spray body mist all over (invest in a good but cheap vanilla body mist) then take your perfume and spray one behind each ear, one on chest, and one on each wrist(you can opt for a more expensive perfume).

She takes care of her hair

Having healthy hair is a flex in 2023 so this means minimum heat and daily hair oiling for maximum results… and girl flaunt that natural hair in public and show off what your momma gave you.

She experiments with clothing

Girl give your Monday to Friday outfit a break and invest in some good essentials which you can find in this blog post and build new outfits every day… who said you can only have one aesthetic… so experiment with your clothes and find your style.
Finding your style boosts your confidence.

She takes care of her nails

Also something i wish someone had told me earlier is that nails matter too, the finer details in life but still important that it could make or break your reputation. So even if your not an acrylic nails girly at least invest in a great cuticle oil and clear nail varnish if you are going for that short and dainty look.
